Mr. Taylor informs the Department that in an interview with the minister of state he promised to interview minister for the colonies to-morrow, and to do his utmost to secure results as soon as possible to the following, which Mr. Taylor urgently asked: first, that original Spanish version of repertory be put in force immediately; second, that restrictions upon importation of petroleum to Havana and Baracoa be removed.
