Excellency: I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your note No. 76, of the 29th ultimo, proposing in the name of your Government the renewal for another term of five years the Arbitration Convention signed between the United States and Spain on April 20, 1908, and extended on May 29, 1913.[Page 807]
There is enclosed herewith a draft3 of an agreement for that purpose which, if you will supply the Department with the Spanish equivalent thereof, will be promptly put in shape for signature.
