Department is awaiting offer from Spanish Government to settle Moroccan claims on basis of ad referendum agreement between Blake and General Jordana. You may discreetly endeavor to expedite action bearing in mind Department’s instruction in its telegram 52, August 9, 1928,31 concerning claims reserved. Report situation by telegraph.
