Dear Mr. Assistant Secretary: You may remember that I wrote you a Private and Confidential letter on August 6th asking if you could let us have at least a provisional expression of your opinion on the two alternative draft treaties regarding the admission of Australian business men to the United States, which were handed to you by Sir Ronald Lindsay on April 27th last.
