95. Montero accepted yesterday the presidential nomination made by all political parties except those of the extreme Left. In order not to establish the precedent of chief executive being a candidate for the presidency he indicated immediately his intention to tender his resignation as Vice President but has deferred action and at present it seems that there will be some delay in determining who will succeed him as Vice President. In the meantime Montero will hold over.
