Department’s 153, December 29, 3 p.m. and 5, January 15, 1934, 5 p.m. Please seek an interview with the proper German authorities, especially Dr. Sehacht and, if possible, the Chancellor himself, before the meeting of the bondholders representatives on the 22nd, and supplementing such action as you may have taken in accordance with the Department’s previous instructions, present the following note:
