The Secretary of State presents his compliments to the German Ambassador and, referring to His Excellency’s communication of March 12, 1934 and to previous correspondence, regarding the imposition of a tax on the use of foreign built boats by Section 761 (b) of the Revenue Act of 1932, has the honor to state that Section 613 of the Revenue Act of 1934,37 which has now become law, renders Section 761 (b) inapplicable after June 30, 1934.
