Legation’s 6, February 8, 10 a.m. The Italian Government replied February 20th expressing sympathy with Egyptian wishes but [Page 574] stating that presidency of Chambers will require modification rather than interpretation of existing regulations. Use of the Arabic language should be given practical solution which must not interfere with normal functioning of courts or modify their organization or character.
