145. Department’s No. 139, March 22, 6 p.m.⁴² Sherover has now applied for a license to export the 20 Bellanca 2-place monoplanes to France. He states that he is informed by Air France that these planes are to be used for service on their Colonial lines.

Have you any information which would tend to confirm the statement that these planes have been purchased by Air France, and, if so, any information as to their probable ultimate destination?
