The British Ambassador ( Lothian ) to the Secretary of State
His Majesty’s Ambassador presents his compliments to the Secretary of State and has the honour to inform him that a British Air Commission has been established in the United States for the purpose of co-ordinating, in co-operation with the British Purchasing Commission, the purchase of aircraft and aircraft material in this country on behalf of His Majesty’s Government. The Commission is under the direction of Sir Henry Self and its present address is 1785, Massachusetts Avenue, Washington, D. C. (telephone Hobart 9000).
