101. My 91, April 30,4 p.m.20 It now seems practically certain that the Iranian Government has been obliged to put several flying fields at the disposal of the Soviets. A number of Iranian refugees who were expelled from Russia—see my despatch No. 1294, May 13, 193820—have just been engaged by the Iranian Air Force presumably to serve as interpreters.
