366. Your 493, March 28. The Department has been informed this morning that arrangements have been made to divert a tanker to haul 75,000 barrels of gasoline from Talara to Valparaiso in time to avoid complete lack of stocks. The Svithiod, the Department is informed, [Page 99] will make two consecutive voyages to Chile as soon as she is again in service, in addition to the 75,000 barrel cargo first mentioned above.
