Our Delegation at the Potsdam Conference is not informed of any discussions relating to Preparatory Commission. British Embassy here seems to be equally uninformed of any discussions of this kind. Have you had any confirmation of the statement made in the first sentence of your 7519, July 26, 11:00 a.m.1 and your Copre 4 of July 31?2 We are naturally interested in any developments relating to the subject of officers of ExeCom and PreCo and would appreciate your communicating any such information urgently.
