By letter to Vyshinski of July 11, British Ambassador2 stated British Government could not accept Soviet Government [Page 739] views expressed in February 26 Foreign Office note on removal oil field equipment from Rumania. (To Dept, repeated Bucharest 91, London 368) Clark Kerr protested continued Soviet requisitioning and removal British equipment.
