507. Editorial Note
Airgram 108 to Peru, January 28, 1955, authorized Ambassador Harold H. Tittmann, Jr., to open negotiations with the Government of Peru for the sale of United States agricultural commodities under Title I of Public Law 480, the Agricultural Trade Development and Assistance Act of 1954. Enclosed was a draft agreement to be used in the negotiations. (Department of State, Central Files, 411.2341/1–2855) In telegram 248 from Lima, February 8, the Embassy reported that the agreement had been signed as submitted.
