90. Editorial Note

The Honduran Constituent Assembly, which convened on October 21, decided to appoint a President of the Republic rather than hold separate presidential elections. On November 15, the Assembly elected Ramón Villeda Morales President of Honduras. Villeda Morales took office on December 21 under a new national constitution which entered into force on that day.
