52. Shanghai’s 128, February 29, 5 p.m.,78 transmits Commercial Attaché’s report to Commerce “232, February 29. Supplement to Weekly Economic” which reads in part as follows:

“Finance Minister appointed by National Government mandate to head the commission for readjustment of domestic and foreign loans which now consists of nine members of Ministerial rank from Government yuans including also chairman of board of Bank of China.”

Department desires to receive by naval radio such additional information as you may have in regard to the commission under reference and would appreciate being kept fully and currently advised of all developments of importance in regard thereto.
