112. Your 235, May 9, 11 a.m. in regard to new Chinese insurance law. The Department perceives no objection to the Embassy acting in the manner indicated. It is assumed, of course, that the Embassy will avoid giving its support to any representations of the American companies which may not accord with the views expressed in the Department’s instruction No. 111 of March 9.
