Editorial Note

The United Nations Security Council held its 503rd meeting on September 26 from 3 to 7:55 p. m. The Soviet Representative introduced a draft resolution (U.N. document S/1812) condemning United States bombing in Korea; it was similar to the Soviet draft resolution introduced on August 8 and rejected by the Security Council on September 7 (see the editorial notes, pages 546 and 705).
