Washington, October 27, 1909.

Mr. Secretary of State: My Government has just advised me that the last day on which the commercial arrangements recently denounced by the United States Government can be applied happening to be a Sunday, the necessary arrangements have been made to keep the French customhouse open on that day.

I have, in consequence, the honor to inform your excellency that American imports will enjoy the benefits of the present order for products arrived and entered in France on the 31st of this month.
