Yuan Shih-Kai unanimously elected President yesterday by the Nanking assembly. To-day the Imperial family and the former Ministers of State all urged him not to decline the office. The provisional capital is fixed at Nanking. Sun telegraphs Yuan that an envoy has been sent to invite him to come to Nanking.
