21. Legation’s 17, January 22, noon.30 Acuerdo authorizing sale of enemy properties published yesterday. Fifteen days allowed for an appraisal of the properties and bids will be received one month after expiration above mentioned period. Acuerdo stipulates that all sales shall be public except in case of an express disposition respecting the form of the receipts and price, which the Government will dictate in each case which it esteems necessary. Translation and copy of acuerdo was transmitted to the Department in pouch yesterday.30
