Sir: Referring to my No. 868 of June 24,15 in regard to the settlement of the case of the Santo Domingo Water, Light and Power Company, I have the honor to state that the Provisional Government has approached me relative to the consent of the American Government for the issue of the 5% bonds to be delivered to the Company in accordance with the report of the expert, and I respectfully request instructions in the matter.
