8. Steamship Reidun seized March 17 under Section 586 Tariff Act and 205 Anti-Smuggling Act. Four officers arrested same day charged with conspiracy under Section 88 Title 18 United States Code in connection with seizure smuggling vessel Pronto off South Carolina. Part of Reidun cargo found on Pronto and part on wharf at Keansburg, New Jersey.
