Communiqués issued by the Ministry of National Defense refute, on the personal word of honor of Prieto, the German claim (which is regarded as the precursor to some maneuver) that the Leipzig has been attacked by Government vessels;11 and interpret the remarks of Admiral Raeder12 at the funeral of the Deutschland victims as confirming the Spanish version of the Ibiza bombing.
