175. My 174, April 10, 4 p.m. American Radio Service Tientsin. The Chinese Foreign Office has written informally asking that American consular officials at Tientsin be instructed to give their support to Nichols and Young69 against the British demand that they close their radio station.

Receipt of the letter has been acknowledged without comment.
