The Export-Import Bank has requested of Schnake an estimate of the amount of exchange arrears, including goods held up in the customs house, with information as to what American exporters are owed the money and for what types of products. It is requested that you supply the Department with similar information, transmitting a full report by airmail and a summary by telegraph.
