Mr. Cabot: Commander Parker spoke to me this morning about the interest of the Salvadoran Military Attaché, whose name, I believe, is Baroń, in obtaining 1,000 submachine guns. May I have your views [Page 309] on this? It seems to me to be a rather considerable order of an article which has played a sinister role in Central America.
