[Cantel] 62. In interview with AP evening February 16, Sun Fo stated categorically he had not tendered resignation and had no intention resigning. Answering questions regarding his attitude toward demands of Control Yuan and portion of Legislative Yuan that he return Nanking explain his recent actions in moving Cabinet [to] Canton, he replied that he did not intend return Nanking “immediately”. Sun added (off record) he believed things would soon become so “hot” around Nanking that portion Government remaining there would be forced move Canton and that following such move he would, of course, be prepared answer his questioners.
