Editorial Note

At the Washington Tripartite Foreign Ministers Meeting of July 10–14, 1953, Secretary Dulles, British Acting Foreign Secretary Salisbury, and French Foreign Minister Bidault agreed that, in the event of an armistice in Korea, the trade embargo against the People’s Republic of Ghina would be continued.
