Your May 6 just received. Consul Bonney and wire were in Mexico City May 5 and Department understands they left next day for Puerto Mexico with a large number of other refugees. Brazilian Minister reports that he is doing everything possible to secure the release of Vice Consul Silliman but owing to the fact that wires have been cut between Mexico City and Saltillo communication difficult.
